The First Certificate in English [FCE] is an Upper-Intermediate level exam. It is ideal for students who need to be able to communicate confidently in English in most situations. FCE is one of the most widely recognised English language qualifications by employers and educational institutions around the world.

The FCE exam comprises 5 parts:

Paper 1 - Reading
Paper 2 - Writing
Paper 3 - Use of English [Grammar]
Paper 4 - Listening
Paper 5 - Speaking

ACE students who would like to take the 12-week FCE course need to be at Upper-Intermediate level [ACE General English levels 401-501] and will need to take the ACE FCE Qualifying test before being accepted for the FCE course.

For me, the FCE class I did at ACE was a fantastic experience. The teachers motivated us for 12 intensive weeks. The study retreat in the middle of the course was amazing. I would recommend this course to any students thinking about coming to ACE.
