ACE was established in Sydney in 1981. This makes it the longest-established independent English language college in Australia. ACE introduced many language programs in Australia, quickly gaining a world-wide reputation for the exceptional quality of its teachers, for the professionalism of its staff and for the care and support it gives to its students.

Throughout its history, ACE has sustained a commitment to setting standards of excellence. Thousands of students, from over 45 different countries, have benefited from our broad range of programs, making quick progress in their English studies and achieving success in their future goals.
ACE is one of the best-known language colleges in Australia, with campuses in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Cairns and Darwin. Its prestigious partner school, ACL, also has links with a number of excellent universities and business colleges.
ACE's teacher-training division, Australian TESOL Training Centre (ATTC), was established in 1983 and offers University of Cambridge qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. It was the first accredited University of Cambridge centre in Australia, and is now one of the largest TESOL training centres in the world.
